Lucky Items & Jewel of Extension
The ultimate guide to maintaining, refining, and farming for your Lucky Item sets.
1. Mechanics Overview
Lucky Items are powerful assets in Insania MU, but they function differently than standard gear. They possess fixed enhancement levels and cannot be upgraded using Jewels of Bless or Soul.
Key Restrictions:
- No Upgrades: You cannot increase the level (e.g., +1 to +15) manually.
- Exclusive Repair: Zen repairs at blacksmiths do not work. You must use the Jewel of Extension.
⚠ CRITICAL WARNING: Durability
You must use a Jewel of Extension BEFORE the item's durability reaches 0.
If durability hits zero, the item is permanently broken, becomes unusable, and cannot be repaired. It can only be dismantled.
2. Where to Farm (Materials & Tickets)
In Insania MU, Lucky Tickets are usually obtained via server events. However, players can farm Excellent Items to refine into Jewels of Extension to keep their gear alive.
Top Farming Strategies:
- AtlansAll Levels:A top-tier choice for farmingExcellent Itemsused for refining at NPC David.
- InvasionsGolden Mobs:Hunt Golden Dragons forBoxes of Kundun. These drop Excellent gear, providing "fuel" for refining.
- DeviasNear NPC Delgado:Farm forLucky Coins. Exchange these at NPC Delgado for rewards, occasionally including tickets.
- EventsBC & DS:Blood Castle and Devil Square are reliable for high-density mob farming for Excellent items and Ruud.
- Low TierDungeon & Lost Tower:Consistent drops of low-mid level Excellent gear perfect for bulk refining.
3. The Jewel of Extension
The Jewel of Extension is the only resource capable of restoring Lucky Item durability.
Jewels of Extension can now be stacked into Jewel Bank for easier inventory management.
How to Create (Refining)
- Go to NPC David in Elbeland.
- Select the "Refine Lucky Item" option.
- Place an unneeded Lucky Item or Excellent Item into the window.
- Click combine. (Note: The process has a chance to fail).
Other Acquisition Methods
- Item SmithyAvailable in the Misc. Items II section (Press U).
- EventsFrequently offered as rewards in GM or automated events.
How to Use
Simply Drag and Drop the Jewel of Extension directly onto the Lucky Item in your inventory. Each jewel restores a fixed amount of durability.
